So when Tim comes home, the kids favorite thing to do is run and hide. Eleanor will shout out "Come find me Daddy!" but James and G are much more adept at hiding.
The picture below is Gillian hiding in the laundry pile. She fell asleep. We actually had to uncover her. It was a pretty good hiding place.

nightmare. when you were looking for her and couldn't find her in all the normal spots did it cross you mind that she might be lost? Some of yous would hide and be so quite I couldn't find you--my heart would beat faster and some of the magic of the game would diminish. Once baby Chauncey rolled under the couch and fell asleep before I missed the fact that he was no longer laying on his blanket--30+ years later I still remember that panicky feeling and the relief of finding that dear little one.
