I am currently taking recommendations on how to get a touchy baby to sleep. She fights sleep so hard even when I get her in her early "I'm getting tired" phase and it is incredibly worse when she is overtired, which she often is since I have two other kids to deal with. I need her to be able to sleep on her own and I need to be able to put her to sleep in 30 minutes or under preferrably. All the sleep books give no advice on what to do if you have two other children who have needs.

Such cute pictures of your children! I'm so glad you're better than me at updating your blog. Eleanor is just adorable. She's grown sooo much in 2 months!
Buffy, I need to live by you guys so I can watch your children again. Ohh well. I have no sleep advice. Sorry...I don't have any kids of my own...I'll ask you in a few years though.

She looks strikingly the same as your other two babies....she is really cute buffy. Is she only crying to go to sleep, or is she sensitive all day?
I would just feed, wrap tight as you can, soothe by singing/rocking, then leave her in the crib....forever, as long as you know she is for sure ready to sleep, well fed, and not sick. It sucks, but what else can you do if she is just going to cry?
Hey Buffy! Nice to see your blog again. Eleanor is already two months old!! That's crazy. She looks beautiful. Sorry about your sleeping dilemma, I wish I could help. I'm a big fan of pacifiers and crying it out methods myself, but it just doesn't work like that for every baby. Good luck!
Buffy-
Eleanor is so cute, as well as Gilian and James. I am with you on the sleep advice. I try to do a combo of BabyWise and Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child. But I must say I echo you in saying that works if you don't have anyone else to take care of and can instantly drop everything the min they yawn or rub an eye. I have found Brooke to be much harder to schedule for that reason I think, plus I am not as consistent bc with Mason we go places sometimes- heaven forbid. Keep me in the know.
