Preschool introduced James to jam sandwhiches during snack time. He came home so excited about Strawberry Jam (it was "J" week) that I thought it might be fun to make freezer jam together.
Well, it was a great deal of fun and fairly easy (except for the jammin' part), but now, no one will eat the jam. I am not a jam person. James hasn't shown an interest since. Tim isn't home very often and even then, he'll only eat jam on white bread which we don't have since the kids and I prefer whole grain. Sigh. It's pretty delicious jam too.
**addendum--Tim felt guilty after reading this and proceeded to make and eat four pieces of toast with said Strawberry Jam.

I love the addendums to your posts! They always make me laugh out loud.... I can totally see Tim getting up and eating all that toast! He's always been so incredibly nice. To this day, whenever I do my hair this one certain way I think of him. He told me that it looked really nice one day when we were at your apartment when you lived below Emily and Ryan. His compliments are the best!
You mean you don't make pb&j's like every single day. That sandwich alone has saved me on more than several occasions!
The kids and Tim are allergic to peanuts and I have never been fond of peanut butter. I can officially say I have never, in my life, made a PB&J sandwhich. James' teacher said that when she said they were having jelly sandwhiches, James told her he couldn't have any because he was allergic. I think he just associated the jelly with the peanut butter. But when he heard it was strawberry jelly, he decided it must be okay. I should send you some of the freezer jam. It really is quite good.

I was told that jam on ice cream is pretty good. Like syrup, possibly.
