Flutterbys

James got a butterfly house for his birthday. We got some larvae in the mail (the mail...that's right) and we got to watch them build their cocoons and then hatch into painted lady butterflies. We kept them in the house for awhile, feeding them on oranges, but since they only have a two week lifespan, we figured it would be nice to give them a taste of "real life" and so we let them go.

That is such a neat Idea! You are very creative Buff, and I am glad they had fun! I know I say this a lot but you have adorable children.
