I am Losing

Eleanor has added the strength of 100 soldiers to Entropy's battle for the Universe. I remember my other kids making messes when they were young, but not like Eleanor. The other two made messes because well sometimes people just make messes, especially when they are new at something.

Eleanor's messes are more like a mission statement.

While I am cleaning up one, she has the next one not only planned, but half way done. Seriously.

I am beginning to realize that I am just going to have to accept that my house will never be the same, in the same way that my body never will be either.

But they are worth it--right?
This was a two parter: 1. remove diaper 2. dump cereal
(we cannot allow Eleanor to run around in a just a diaper. we actually don't even bother strapping the diaper up until her shorts/skirt is already on because she will just undo it instantly unless there is clothing covering it)
At least she is super, super, super cute...

Oh I am glad that it is not just Madeline who instantly undoes her diapers. The last picture of Eleanor is especially cute. I think the hair illustrates her whirlwind destruction capabilities. :)

You're right... the cuteness factor does somewhat make up for her messes. She is adorable!

I would like to add several more supers to that list. She's adorable and you document that really well. When Max grows up there will be no photographic evidence to show how funny and cute he was. I will just have to be the living testament of it.

This post was very enjoyable reading. (Write a book, write a book...)

She is sooo cute! I can empathize with how it feels to spend your entire day cleaning up one mess after another. You're a great mother! And I love your blog.

Oh wow, she is super cute. I am seriously impressed by the Chex fiasco, she does have the mind for messes it appears. I think it's funny how some kids are into that and some just aren't. Good luck!
