Eleanor George Bunton

It's a Girl! Eleanor George Bunton is the name we settled on. Eleanor for me and George for Tim. We are pulling an Aunt Mary and Uncle Greg.

She was born Easter morning, March 23, at 7:03 AM. The doctor informed us that the 23d is the earliest Easter we will have in 250 some odd years. So this is the first and last time her birthday will fall on Easter.

She weighed in at 7lbs and 19.5 inches. My first thought when I saw her was that she was way too little to be one of my babies.

We are both doing well.

I will be posting more pictures of our recent activites (Easter, Gigi's birthday, Bunton Family vacation, many, many more of Eleanor etc) sometime soon, but I at least wanted to get a few pictures of Eleanor/Georgie out there.
Eleanor basking under the heat lamp in our room. I think heat lamps should be standard issue when you take a new baby home--she was just so content and peaceful under there.
Well...maybe not perfectly content.

She was so alert after delivery. I loved seeing so much of her eyes so early in life. It was a rare treat.

Congratulations Buffy! Our Karli was born on Easter too -- April 11, four years ago. Easter birthdays are fun, they make it special. I must say I was very tempted to name her Easter West, but Steph talked me out of it!

Congrats again! And 7 lbs is perfectly fine. That's still larger than our babies ...

Wow! You girls both look so good! :) In these pictures she looks so much like Little James. We're definitely looking forward to seeing lots and lots more pictures. I love the name. Congratulations again! :)

We considered naming her Ester in tribute to Easter (they kind of sound alike). It was Tony who thought of the name though and after mentioning it, took such a shine to it that he immediately took it back to keep for one of his babies.

She looks exactly like James! And so small! She looks like one of my babies!Wasshe really ewarly, is that why she was smaller? Hmmm. You didn't post anything about the delivery, I was disappointed! I want to hear the birth story, thats my favorite part, you'll have to share it sometime!

Thanks for all of your sweet comments on my blog! You made my day. I love hearing from you.

I am all for having James and Link become pen pals. They could start now by exchanging Star Wars pictures! :)

You gave me hope that my body will be normal again after this pregancy... well, maybe not normal... but as normal as it was after the other three!
