We did make it to the hospital on time, but I'm glad I didn't wait any longer. Tim got back from dropping the kids off at my friend's with only 30 minutes to spare before Eleanor came. He did get to deliver the baby again, which I thought was nice of the doctor and they even let him keep Eleanor's placenta to take to his plastination lab at the med school. I personally think that is totally weird, but it made him so happy--so there you go.
This was the first time I wasn't overwhelmed with the "I can't believe they are letting me take this baby home from the hospital" feeling. Finally, by the third baby, I feel like a mother.

She's so sweet! You must have labored really fast. I'm glad Tim made it in time. Yikes! I love all the pictures. Congratulations!
I didn't labor fast so much as I waited too long at home. I just hated to wake my friend up in the middle of the night on Easter morning. Add to that the not wanting to get my hopes up that this was really it as well as the fear that this was really it. Put that all together and you get a woman who waits too long at home.
I love all of those pictures... newborns are the cutest thing ever. I admit that all the adorable photos with the cute bow in her hair make me wish this baby was a girl as well! :)
Isn't it amazing how once you add a third child, you finally feel like a mother? It's like you have a 'real' family all of a sudden and your not playing house anymore. I love it!
Wow. That looks amazing. I can't believe Tim got to deliver the baby! What an oppertunity. I have to admit, you are making me pretty dang baby hungry!
Ah, so beautiful-all of you! You guys make me so happy. Such a beautiful little family. Hope everything continues to be well with you.
I think the bows are cute too. I hadn't realized before what a Utah thing they were. The hospital here did nothing to distinguish gender and her pediatrician actually remembered her based on her "cute bow." I was amazed since they are so common place in Utah.
